Alister is an accredited exercise physiologist (AEP) who has a strong passion for utilising exercise to help people improve their physical function and overall quality of life. He completed a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University where he gained experience working in community rehabilitation and private practice.
Alister has experience working within a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals to provide a holistic rehabilitation approach to a diverse range of clientele. He has been responsible for prescribing and delivering exercise programs to people living with complex chronic diseases, as well as people who have experienced workplace, motor vehicle and sporting injuries. He has also spent time with the Carlton AFLW team as an assistant strength and conditioning coach and is the currently the strength and conditioning coach at the University Blues Football Club.
Alister strongly believes in a collaborative approach to healthcare and he strives to build a strong relationship with all of his clients to help them achieve their goals. He endeavours to provide his clients with the tools and knowledge to be proactive towards their health and wellbeing.
In his spare time, Alister enjoys staying active through resistance training and watching the AFL and NBA.
