An Irish native, Barry obtained his medical degree in his home town at University College Cork.

After completing his intern year in 2015, he moved to Australia for more sunshine, better work-life balance and a different lifestyle experience. Quickly realising that he wanted to stay, he is now a naturalised Australian citizen.

Barry has close to a decade of experience working in emergency, medical, paediatric and intensive care departments before completing his FRACGP (GP training) in 2022, training in rural Western Australia.

Outside of medicine Barry has a keen interest in sport, particularly in tennis, soccer and rugby union as well as being an avid reader with a current interest in non-fiction.

Barry enjoys seeing patients seeking assistance with preventative and lifestyle health care, mens' health, sports and musculoskeletal injuries, skin cancer checks, sexual health and STI management.
