HANNA JANSSEN-KALLENBERG

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (SHE/HER)

BSc, MSc, Licensed psychotherapist, MAPS

Hanna is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in a variety of mental health settings across Australia and Germany, including hospital services, addiction focused treatment, student counselling and private practice.

She understands that opening up about yourself is not an easy thing and aims to provide a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Hanna sees clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, stress related issues, grief and loss, difficulties adjusting to life changes, self-esteem problems and relationship issues. She believes that understanding the root causes of your mental distress is the key to creating lasting change and supports her clients in the process of gaining a deeper understanding of their belief systems, attachment styles and unmet needs.

In order to increase her clients' resilience she assists them in discovering their inherent strengths and learning skills to manage unhelpful thought patterns, difficult emotions and unhealthy coping behaviours.

As a passionate Yoga practitioner and certified Yoga teacher, Hanna also aims to increase the awareness of the connection of mind and body and incorporates this into her treatment approach.

Hanna is trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Imagery Rescripting and Reprocessing Therapy.
