DR JOSH DONAGHY
Dr Josh Donaghy graduated from University of Glasgow in 2012 and then worked for 2 years in a busy district hospital in England. He then moved to Melbourne, which he now calls home.
He worked for several years in a busy Emergency Department in Melbourne, before working in several specialist departments including paediatrics. He also gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Josh believes in treating the patient as a whole, holistically and realised the best way to practice preventative, patient-focused healthcare was in General Practice. He attained his fellowship in General Practice and has since found a specialist interest in men's health, chronic health, paediatrics and skin cancer medicine. As part of his commitment to lifelong learning, he completed a certificate in skin cancer medicine. He also has a strong interest in education and teaches medical students from the Notre Dame University.
Dr Donaghy has recently worked in Covid hotel services during the pandemic, and has looked after persons in the community with Covid-19. He is also proud to have helped look after the health needs of the Afghan refugees who fled to Australia in 2021.
Outside of medicine, Josh enjoys road cycling, eating good food with friends and searching the cafes in Fitzroy to find the best coffee!
