Dr Smrithya Balasubramanian

Smrithya (she/her) graduated from Monash University in 2017.  Since then, she has worked in hospitals across Victoria, and undertook her training in general practice in Gippsland, Victoria. 
 

Smrithya enjoys all aspects and the breadth of general practice – with a particular interest in women’s health, preventative health, and family health.  Smrithya joins The Neighbourhood Clinic, with an interest in seeing new and existing patients looking for support with:
 

• Contraception, including Implanon

• Sexual health

• Women’s health

• Family planning

• Skin checks

• Ante-natal and post-natal care, including 6 week checks

• Babies and children 

• Chronic disease management

• Travel health

 

Outside of work, Smrithya enjoys baking, the outdoors and spending time with loved ones.
