Bryce is a registered psychologist with extensive experience in a variety of mental health settings, including acute care in hospital, private practice, community health services, cross-cultural healing programs, at home therapy for developmental concerns, and child-based services.
He believes in creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship as key for long-lasting change. He provides a safe, sensitive, and calm environment for clients. Bryce sees clients who experience anxiety and depression, traumatic stress, developmental trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem problems, autism spectrum disorder, attentional deficit disorder, learning disorders, behavioural management, and can complete various diagnostic assessments.
Bryce works with individuals of all developmental stages, including adults and children starting from six years of age. He endeavours to create a culturally safe space.
Bryce strives to understand the underlying factors of his client’s distress and relevant foundational experiences. Bryce uses a strengths-based approach to address the needs of the individual.
Bryce uses an integrative approach to intervention and utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, and mindfulness strategies.
