AUTISM ASSESSMENT
FEES
This includes up to three consultations, assessment, report and feedback session. Half the fee is payable before your first session, and the balance is due before the report is produced. There are no Medicare rebates available for this Autism assessment.
NEXT STEPS
Treatment for Autism most commonly involves several therapies such as cognitive and behavioural therapies that address emotional awareness and regulation.

An ADHD assessment by a psychologist can provide clarity and confidence in relation to suspected Autism. Many
people find that a psychologist assessment is sufficient for their needs. However, if you receive a diagnosis from
our psychologist and want to seek medication or additional funding, you will require a further assessment by a
psychiatrist.

Our psychologist cannot prescribe medication. Our psychologist’s assessment can be helpful for the psychiatrist when they conduct their own assessment. You should discuss with your GP about a referral to a psychiatrist, if desired.
