We are currently seeking:

 

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

  • Boutique multi-model medical centre in Melbourne’s inner north

Who We Are:

Established in early 2018 the Neighbourhood Clinic was built on the idea that best practice health care requires expertise across the medical and allied health fields.

 

To do that we collected excellent practitioners, supported them with a team of capable administrators and continue to provide regular internal social and professional development events.

 

Three years and a pandemic later we are close to having the perfect team however as demand for exercise physiology continues to grow we are looking for a third member of our excellent EP team.

The Clinic:

The clinic is housed in a beautiful high ceilinged old bank in the heart of Fitzroy North that has been recently renovated. The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light, art and indoor plants. Alongside the consultation rooms we have a fully equipped dedicated rehabilitation centre space. 

 

Our patients are lovely locals that reflect the area. 

We welcome health care card holders, DVA and TAC patients; all ages, races and LGBTIQ+ communities.

What We Are Looking For:

​We are looking for an AEP to join our wonderful team alongside our current 2 AEP’s and clinic disciplines. The hours and days available will be agreed with the successful candidate.  

 

The work will comprise of a mix of one on one clinical work and small groups.  There is an established case load but the right candidate will have the opportunity to increase patient numbers.

The clinical work is varied but will include musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic, ageing and chronic pain populations. 

 

You will enjoy working independently, yet welcome regular interaction with our other AEPs to ensure consistency of patient care and a great team environment.  You will have ideas about how to grow your AEP practice, and be keen to implement them with the support of the management team and other practitioners.

Experience working independently and clinically with a varied caseload is desirable. You must be accredited as an EP with ESSA, holding current first aid and CPR certificates, as well as your own ABN and insurance.

Registered Nurse /
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse

Who We Are:

A vibrant multi-modal private medical centre with a focus on providing the best possible care for our patients and the best working conditions for our staff.

 

With GPs, exercise physiologists, osteopaths, psychology, podiatry, dietetics and acupuncture our practice is doing its best to embody the concept of the biopsychosocial model.

The Clinic:

The clinic is housed in a beautiful high ceilinged old bank in the heart of Fitzroy North that has been recently renovated. The consultation rooms are spacious and filled with natural light, art and indoor plants.

 

Our patients are lovely locals that reflect the area.  We welcome health care card holders, DVA and TAC patients; all ages, races and LGBTIQ+ communities.

 

Our nurses provide support to 5 GPs, and are supported by onsite pathology and an excellent Reception team.

The Role:

We need an experienced registered nurse or medication endorsed enrolled nurse with general practice experience that enjoys working in a close-knit team.  Experience with working in an emergency department, with paediatric patients and providing immunisations will be highly regarded.  

 

The role will include regular Saturday AM shifts, as well as weekday back-up and leave coverage.  You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in general practice nursing and be ready to be an independent team player providing support with all aspects of general practice nursing, including: 

  • Triage

  • Venepuncture

  • Immunisations 

  • Health assessments

  • Wound care

  • Paediatric patients

  • Maintaining clinical data using Best Practice software

  • Managing the clinical environment and infection control

  • Cold chain management

  • Providing patients with appropriate information and education

 

You must have superior communication and personal skills with a strong focus on patient needs.  You must be punctual, flexible and possess a proven ability to work autonomously.

Pelvic Health
Physiotherapist

Three years and a pandemic later we are close to having the perfect team however we lack the expertise in Pelvic Health that we need to assist our doctors with their patients. 

The Clinic:

The clinic is housed in a beautiful high ceilinged old bank in the heart of Fitzroy North that has been recently renovated. The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light, art and indoor plants. Alongside the consultation rooms we have a fully equipped dedicated rehabilitation centre space.

What We Are Looking For:

 

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with post graduate studies in Pelvic Health to provide specialised support to our patient base. 

We have a preference toward industry experience however it is not a barrier for application. 

You will enjoy working independently, yet welcome regular interaction with the rest of our team to ensure consistency of patient care and a great team environment. 

You will feel comfortable working closely with GPs and our Allied Health team, writing reports and referrals as well as presenting to GPs.

General Practitioner
(Unrestricted, VR)

Three years and a pandemic later we are close to having the perfect team however as demand for our GPs grows we are looking for another fantastic GP to join our team.

The Clinic:

The clinic is housed in a beautiful high ceilinged old bank in the heart of Fitzroy North that has been purposefully renovated. The rooms are filled with natural light, art and indoor plants.

 

Our patients are lovely locals that reflect the area. We are a private billing clinic, and welcome all ages, races and LGBTIQ+ communities.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an unrestricted VR GP to join our wonderful team.  The hours and days available will be agreed with the successful candidate, however we need someone for Saturdays and several sessions during the week.  

 

You will be well supported by a close GP team and GP Clinical Lead, as well as experienced nurses, onsite pathology and a full reception team.

 

As a practice that emphasises the multi-modal approach, we need a general practitioner that enjoys working in a team with our other modalities.  You will be comfortable with all aspects of general practice, and enjoy developing solid relationships with your patients.

 

We are a private mixed billing clinic, and our expectation is that the right candidate will quickly be fully booked.  On Saturdays, there is a patient surcharge and no bulk billings.

Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist

Three years and a pandemic later we are close to having the perfect team however due to increased growth, we are looking for another Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.

The Clinic:

The clinic is housed in a beautiful high ceilinged old bank in the heart of Fitzroy North that has been purposefully renovated. The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light, art and indoor plants.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our established Psychology team for several days per week.  Daytime, evening and weekend sessions are available.

 

You will be joining an established highly regarded team of Psychologists, with a steady stream of new clients referred from internally and externally. Your clients may be children, youths or adults, as per your preference.  Special interest in areas such as ADHD, gender/sexuality issues and depression/anxiety will be well regarded.  

 

​​ Our main requirement from applicants is for them to want to help people, to take time to listen to their clients and to advise them as best they can.  We want you to look forward to coming to work, and to have a good time while you're here.  You will be working alongside professional colleagues in a lovely space, and supported by a very capable admin team and practice manager.


This role is a contractor position, so you will need to have your own ABN and insurance, and of course, be AHPRA registered.  You will enjoy working independently, yet welcome regular interaction with the rest of our team to ensure consistency of patient care and a great team environment.
