Clinical Psychologist

Clinic: The Neighbourhood Clinic
Location: Fitzroy North



 

Who We Are:

A multi-modal medical centre with a focus on providing the best possible care for our patients and the best working conditions for our staff.

 

We have a real emphasis on the interpersonal element of practice and this runs throughout our practitioners.

 

 

The Clinic:

Is a beautiful, recently renovated, multi-modal medical centre that was once an old bank. The consultation rooms are large, quiet and filled with natural light, art and plants.
 

 

 

The Role:

 

The role will require integration with General Practitioners, Allied Health. Being able to communicate and appreciate the knowledge of these professions is integral to the role.

You will be replacing a much loved and sadly departing practitioner. There will be a handover process for the patients that they have been managing.

The departing practitioner had been working two days per week but has had a significant wait list. As such the hours that you work are negotiable. As is the remuneration.

 


 

The Ideal Candidate will have

 

  • AHPRA Registration as a Clinical Psychologist

  • Passion for working with other Allied Health professions and General Practitioners

  • Competence working with children, alcohol and other drugs, personality disorders as well as depression/anxiety

  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
