Price List and Rebates

The Neighbourhood Clinic is a private billing clinic.  This means we charge a fee for service, and there will be an out of pocket cost even after any Medicare/private health rebates have been processed.  Pension/concession card holders may be charged a lower out of pocket cost, at the doctor's/practitioner's discretion.

If your consultation is eligible for a Medicare rebate, we can process your Medicare claim at the time of your appointment, and you will receive your rebate instantly or within 24-48 hours.  


Late cancellation/missed appointment fees apply for GP doctor appointments not attended or cancelled within 3 hours of the appointment time.  For all other appointment types, a fee applies for appointments not attended or cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time.

* CONCESSION: Concession fees apply to pension card holders, health care card holders, full time tertiary students and veterans. Please bring proof of concession to ALL appointments.

** MEDICARE CARE PLANS: Speak to your GP to see if you are eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan or a Mental Health Care (MHC) Plan, which will provide you with a limited number of Medicare subsidised appointments per year. Please bring your care plan to your first appointment.

*** MEDICARE REBATE is not payable on Telehealth (phone/video) appointments unless the patient has a) been seen by a GP face to face at The Neighbourhood Clinic in the last 12 months; OR b) the patient is under 12 months; OR c) the patient is experiencing homelessness. For any other rebates, including private health insurance, TAC, Workcover, DVA, please see your relevant provider.
