Linda is a registered psychologist with over 20 years experience who is committed to developing a collaborative, authentic and respectful therapeutic relationship with each client. Linda provides individual and couple therapy to adults; working with issues including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, ill health, navigating life changes and transitions, relationships and personal growth work.
Linda works to promote healing and growth through developing understanding, self-acceptance and compassion, discovering strengths, exploring strategies and learning to navigate change and uncertainty in order to live a fulfilling and nourishing life.
Linda practices in a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment using well researched strategies with an experienced, grounded and compassionate approach to psychology. Based in a client centred philosophy, Linda uses an integrated approach drawing on techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, compassion, strength based and mindfulness work. Techniques are tailored to suit the needs of individual clients.
Linda has worked in a variety of counselling environments including private practice, relationship and community organisations, schools and universities.
